The Azores voted again as safe vacation destination in 2022
DestinationsThe European Best Destinations chose the Azores as a safe holiday destination in 2022.
The decision was based on criteria such as the number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, health measures, and local recommendations enforced by the authorities to receive tourists in hotels, shops, and restaurants.
It is now the third consecutive year that the Azores have been distinguished by the European Best Destinations website, making the archipelago one of the few destinations that has maintained the possibility of a safe and sustainable experience, in continuous contact with nature.
The distinction is another reason you can feel secure in choosing the Azores Islands for your next holiday destination.
